New Zealand Yachts was formed in 2000 with the absolute commitment to building luxury yachts that are internationally recognized as the worlds most efficient and ecologically friendly yachts that deliver unparalleled sea keeping and stability in superior comfort and luxury.  We have delivered on our promise with the build, support and sale of the award wining yacht MY Spirit.  This commitment is also evident in our investments in high quality super yacht building infrastructure, highly skilled people, established and proven build partners and most importantly a successful track record of completed projects.

We are luxury yacht shipyard with a core skill and focus on building, servicing and refitting Superyachts between 25 and 60 meters with composite being our preferred material of construction.  Equally our excellent skills in steel and Aluminum are world class.  Our team has a proven track record of working with international yacht designers, stylists and international yacht management and broker firms and  we welcom all enquiries to see how we can be of service.

Our business model of being a low overhead horizontally integrated Yacht Build Company ensures low overheads. We have engaged highly skilled people in Quality Control, Project Management, Project Coodination, Design Coordination, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, General and Administrative Management.  Construction is undertaken by our specialized strategic build partners, some of whom are tenants within the NZY Marine development.  The advantages of this model are many, but to name a few we are secure in providing:
